J. Craig White, President and CEO
Since he co-founded Satellite Security Systems, Inc., Craig White has molded his firm from a small alarm company doing residential security systems to one of the top security firms on Long Island, specializing in closed circuit television, access control and commercial fire alarm systems, all the while maintaining the company’s roots in the residential market. The primary goal of expanding the company’s scope of work and client base was accomplished by hiring a highly professional technical department, which has become the hallmark of the organization. Accelerating Satellite Security’s growth were several acquisitions, which reinforced the firms capabilities and services within the security industry. Satellite Security’s impressive client list includes the United States Military, an Ivy League University, several world famous medical centers, as well as numerous industries in both the private and public sectors. Craig White who saw combat in Vietnam is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force and holds both a BA and an MS degree from Long Island University. He has been honored by New York State as well as a number of local organizations for his volunteer work at the World Trade Center disaster site and the Haiti Earth Quake rescue efforts. Presently he sits on the boards of a several large volunteer relief organizations. As the President and CEO he remains actively engaged in directing the firm.
Ann T. White, Vice President and CFO
Ann White is one of the co-founders of Satellite Security Systems, and presently
holds the positions of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ann started
her career as a nurse, and worked for a number of years in several medical facilities
on Long Island and Seattle Washington. After leaving nursing and prior to the
founding of Satellite Security Systems she worked for several years in the apprising
sector of the real estate industry. Since graduating from nursing school, Ann
has held licenses in nursing; as well as real estate, private investigating and
security watch guards. After taking over the day to day running of Satellite Security’s
financial responsibilities, she has developed and implemented innovative grass
roots programs tailored to guiding the company through its expansion and diversification
phases. As the CFO, Ann is deeply involved with all aspects of purchasing, and
maintaining a regular dialogue with the firm's accounting and legal consultants.
Ann has been very active in community volunteer programs, secondary school organizations,
and is presently a member of an organization that provides temporary living quarters
for family members of open heart surgery patients.
